Christopher Ames is no stranger to studio recording either. His 2004 CD titled BELIEVING BEYOND THE SHADOWS garnered critical acclaim and spawned several Top 10 singles that hit on both Christian and Country radio. After this CD released he went on to receive a KCCM Award (Kansas City Christian Music Award) for Acoustic Artist of the Year and in 2006 took home 2 more awards-this time for Songwriter of the Year and ARTIST OF THE YEAR. In 2008 he received yet another KCCM Award for ROCK Acoustic Artist of the Year and in 2009 was recognized for the third time in this category, and a second time for Songwriter of the Year.

In 2006 Christopher Ames released an instrumental CD titled TAKE IT IN. This CD featured both original songs and hymns. It caught the attention of both industry and retail professionals, and for his work he was awarded the 2007 MOMENTUM AWARD for Instrumental Artist of the Year presented in Nashville, TN. Many venues are often looking for instrumental (guitar based) background music. Christopher's acoustic instrumental performance is perfect for restaurants, nursing homes, hospitals, coffee shops, funerals, etc. Christopher's instrumental music has been used as background music on talk radio, commercials and many business websites.

In 2008 Christopher Ames released his 5th album on the Remnant Music Group Indie Label. This new CD (recorded in Nashville) has already generated serious buzz as it focuses on the journey of life and love in marriage. The album is a departure from his traditional acoustic style and is more pop/rock oriented which appeals to a broad audience. His first single, CHAMPION was released to 1500 Christian Radio Stations through a partnership with CRW and spent 25 weeks on the Global AC chart. But, this record is filled with music for the Mainstream/Secular market. There's been tremendous feedback for his song titled PICTURES OF US. He's was recognized as a finalist for LINGER in the Adult Contemporary category by the ISSA Awards (Independent Singer/Songwriter Awards) and both of these songs were also recognized as honorable mentions for the 2008 Song Door International Songwriting Competition. In 2009-he was nominated for a SAMMY (Syracuse Area Music Award) for POP Album of the Year, and also received a 4 star! review in Christianity Music Today-once again showing his crossover appeal.

In 2009, Christopher Ames releases LEAD US INTO CHRISTMAS DAY. This upbeat, Christmas radio single is sure to become a classic favorite as it helps remind us all that with each Holiday season HOPE is just around the corner!
