Hey everybody! I'm glad to be back visiting with you on a daily basis. If you've ever listened to Mid Ohio's Country WNCO, then we're probably already friends. If not , let me introduce myself. I'm Matt Appleby, a Lexington native and Ashland High School graduate who's been on the air in mid Ohio since the winter of 1980. And yes that is my real name (who'd make that up?) My wife Kelly and I make our home in Mansfield and our daughter Sara is out on her own working as a case manager RN for a home health care agency. And while this is my first opportunity to DJ on Y105, I have been a fan of this station for a long time and I love the music. I'd be glad to have you as a Facebook friend, too. Thanks for tuning in weeknights on Y105!
You can barely walk three feet outside your door without seeing a pumpkin this time of year. Whether they’re in you pumpkin spice latte to warm you up or they’re dotting patches in every available parking lot, pumpkins are all the rage this month. But here’s something you probably didn’t know – when it comes to beautiful skin, the power of pumpkins pack a punch. Their enzymes are great for reducing skin irritation and making your skin glow gorgeously. So with pumpkin found in everything from moisturizers to exfoliators, this is the prefect time to give this gourd a try! (Yahoo Shine)
If you’ve tried everything from cold creams to lasers and still with no luck of getting rid of wrinkles, you may need to get slapped. Seriously. The new trend in wrinkle reduction is an old Thai tradition of slapping someone’s face in a methodical way until their wrinkles appear smoother and more minimal. But beware … with the steep price of $350 a pop and no guarantee of results, this treatment sure can feel like a slap in the face. (Jezebel)
Do you think that maybe the wrinkles appear smoother and more minimal because your face is SWOLLEN from the slapping? I'm just sayin'...
