Hey everybody! I'm glad to be back visiting with you on a daily basis. If you've ever listened to Mid Ohio's Country WNCO, then we're probably already friends. If not , let me introduce myself. I'm Matt Appleby, a Lexington native and Ashland High School graduate who's been on the air in mid Ohio since the winter of 1980. And yes that is my real name (who'd make that up?) My wife Kelly and I make our home in Mansfield and our daughter Sara is out on her own working as a case manager RN for a home health care agency. And while this is my first opportunity to DJ on Y105, I have been a fan of this station for a long time and I love the music. I'd be glad to have you as a Facebook friend, too. Thanks for tuning in weeknights on Y105!
A staggering number of men in China remain single. An Estimated 50 million of them. Experts believe that 12 to 15 percent of those men will be unable to find a mate within the next seven years. Why? One - Men in China far out number woman. Two - A large number of men in China come from rural areas and are poor. And Three - 70 percent of single Chinese women site financial stability as the number one thing they look for in a husband. That leaves fewer women fishing in a much larger pool of men with little chance of committtment.
So what's a Chinese man to do? Create a company that takes advantage of the numerical advantage men have and their need to make more money combined with a Chinese woman's lack of desire for a long term relationship...and you have Rent-A-Boyfriend! This sounds like it could be a little hinky, right? Nope! It's not prostitution and it seems much les glamorous than an escort service.
This Chinese company offers a service where you can rent a boyfriend for any occasion. Whether you have a corporate dinner or your parents are in town, you can spend anywhere from $1.50 to $150 to have a well-mannered man – at least 5-foot-6 – take you wherever you need to go. And you’ll get a hug, handshakes, or kiss on the forehead all free of charge! (courtesy in part The Gloss)
